Pop-up or high peak: reading the ladder
A tent rental in Miami comes down to two families. Pop-ups are the light end — 10x10 at $80, 10x20 at $120 — over a bar station, a dessert spread, or the corner that bakes by noon. High peak is the dressed-up branch and the one that covers the guests themselves: 20x20 at $240, 20x40 at $480.
Match the headcount, then match the ground. A 20x20 takes up to 40 at tables with chairs, a 20x40 up to 80 that way or more standing, and nothing we rent is larger than the 20x40. Surface matters as much. Open lawn is the easy one: stakes drive into soil and hold. On a pool deck, pavers or a driveway nothing enters the ground, so ballast weight on top does the holding. Both work — they are not the same install.
Walk the footprint first and flag what hides in the top few inches: sprinkler heads show, the lines feeding them do not, and landscape lighting cable sits just as shallow. Look up too — under a mature ficus or an oak, whatever the tree sheds lands on the top and stays there. Across Miami-Dade and Broward the property, not the invitation list, usually sets the size.

YD Cocktails is spectacular to work with. From the very first consultation, to the follow up by Yovana, to the smallest details and questions they asked. All to ensure that every detail was in place, and it was customized for us, family, and friends. From the display menu to the specialty drinks for the house. The drinks were as appealing to the eye as they were to drink Phenomenal presentation and taste. I don’t think Yovana and David had a chance to stop all night. I swear !!!! Even with that they served all kinds of shots and Cuba Libre (Mentirita) on the dance floor to keep the party going. The attention to detail and professionalism is second to none. I asked to add an extra hour at the very last minute as the guest didn’t want them to leave and that was not a problem whatsoever. Delighted and so happy I went with YD Cocktails. HIGHLY HIGLY RECOMMEND !!!!
