The south end of the county is a serious run from Hialeah — about 36 miles of it to reach Florida City. Booking early matters more here than almost anywhere else we work, for the plain reason that a crew committed to this distance is committed for the whole day.
Homestead starts about a mile from Florida City, with Leisure City and Naranja not much further out. This is one of the tightly packed corners of the county, and it shows up in the practical details — narrow streets, shared parking, a load-in that has to be pointed at the right door.
Florida City is a municipality in its own right rather than a district of somewhere larger, and that matters more than people expect — a residential street here can have its own parking rules and its own opinion on how late a party runs. Setup begins about 1 hour ahead of your start time. We would always rather walk into an empty room than a full one, so tell us the earliest your venue will let us in and we will usually take it.
