At about 24 miles south of our base, South Miami Heights is a long day for the crew before a single drink is poured. That shapes how we plan the date rather than whether we take it: earlier load, earlier departure, and a setup window with real slack in it.
Palmetto Estates is the nearest place we serve, about 2 miles from you, with Cutler Bay and Goulds close behind. If your guest list is spread across those, nobody is making an unreasonable journey to get to you, and arrivals tend to bunch rather than trickle.
South Miami Heights is a community rather than a chartered city — an unincorporated area governed by the county. For an event that mostly means fewer separate rulebooks to satisfy: county regulations, and then whatever your venue or homeowners' association has to say about vehicles and hours.
The crew is scheduled on site about 1 hour before service, and that hour does real work: the bar gets built and levelled, the coolers get filled, the garnish gets cut, and the whole thing is standing finished before your first guest walks past it.
