From our Hialeah base, Aventura is about 11 miles east — far enough that we write the drive into the run sheet, close enough that it never becomes the interesting part of the day. The crew leaves with time in hand and the bar is standing well before your first guest is.
Aventura runs almost straight into Sunny Isles Beach, Golden Beach and North Miami Beach, the nearest of them about a mile out. In a pocket this tight the useful question is never which town the venue is in but which gate we come through — and that is the one we will ask you.
Being incorporated, Aventura answers for its own streets — which mostly reaches you as parking. Where a truck may legally stand for the load-in is a local question, and your venue almost always knows the answer. We only need it asked before the day rather than on it.
Setup begins about 1 hour ahead of your start time. We would always rather walk into an empty room than a full one, so tell us the earliest your venue will let us in and we will usually take it.
Bartending in Aventura is priced the way it is priced everywhere we work: $85/hour with a 3-hour minimum, and a quote you can see online without waiting for a callback. Crossing the county does not move the hourly rate.
Around 22% of the bartending quotes we write are staff only — no bar, no coolers, no serveware, just the people. If that is all you need in Aventura, it is an entirely ordinary booking rather than an awkward one.
About 1 hour before service starts, which is the window we work to everywhere. With about 11 miles to cover from Hialeah we leave with margin rather than counting on a clear road.
If your venue will let us in earlier we will usually take it — an unhurried setup is the cheapest quality upgrade on the whole booking.
Two things, ideally before the day rather than on it: where the truck can stop, and which door the bar comes through. A long carry is fine when we know about it and a scramble when we do not.
We will also ask what surface the bar is going on and whether there is cover, because both change how we build it.
That is the normal way we do it. Tell us what the room drinks and we design the list around it — classics, frozen drinks, mocktails, and a signature or two if you want them.
The mixers, juices, garnish and ice to run that menu come on the truck, portioned to your guest count.
Price it in the wizard on this page, then hold the date with a 25% deposit. The balance falls due 48 hours before the event.
The deposit stays fully refundable until 7 days out, and the date can be moved free of charge up to 48 hours before it.
