Tamiami is about 14 miles south of where we load, which crosses a fair slice of the county. So we plan the arrival backwards from your start time rather than forwards from ours, and we would much rather sit in your parking lot early than call you from traffic.
Around Tamiami sit University Park, Sweetwater and Kendale Lakes, the closest of them about 2 miles off. We price all of them identically, so a venue search that wanders over the line into University Park does not send you back to the start of a pricing conversation.
There is no city hall in Tamiami. It is an unincorporated part of Miami-Dade, so county rules apply and any tighter restriction comes from your community or your venue rather than a local ordinance. We ask about both before we schedule the truck.
The team aims for site 1 hour before your first pour, and we confirm that against your run sheet rather than the other way round. If the speeches, the entrance or the food service move, the bar moves with them.
Bartending in Tamiami is priced the way it is priced everywhere we work: $85/hour with a 3-hour minimum, and a quote you can see online without waiting for a callback. Crossing the county does not move the hourly rate.
Around 22% of the bartending quotes we write are staff only — no bar, no coolers, no serveware, just the people. If that is all you need in Tamiami, it is an entirely ordinary booking rather than an awkward one.

Two things, ideally before the day rather than on it: where the truck can stop, and which door the bar comes through. A long carry is fine when we know about it and a scramble when we do not.
We will also ask what surface the bar is going on and whether there is cover, because both change how we build it.
That is the normal way we do it. Tell us what the room drinks and we design the list around it — classics, frozen drinks, mocktails, and a signature or two if you want them.
The mixers, juices, garnish and ice to run that menu come on the truck, portioned to your guest count.
As early as you can, for the dull reason that weekend crews are finite. December is the month we price the most bartending dates in — 13% of them — so a date in that stretch is worth locking down.
A 25% deposit is all it takes to hold one, and it stays refundable until 7 days out.
