Sweetwater, specifically
The practical side of a Sweetwater event
Sweetwater is about 13 miles south of where we load, which crosses a fair slice of the county. So we plan the arrival backwards from your start time rather than forwards from ours, and we would much rather sit in your parking lot early than call you from traffic.
Sweetwater runs almost straight into University Park, Fontainebleau and Tamiami, the nearest of them about a mile out. In a pocket this tight the useful question is never which town the venue is in but which gate we come through — and that is the one we will ask you.
Sweetwater is a municipality in its own right rather than a district of somewhere larger, and that matters more than people expect — a residential street here can have its own parking rules and its own opinion on how late a party runs. Tell us what you have been told and we will fit the setup and breakdown inside it.
The crew is on site around 1 hour before service starts, and a run of about 13 miles leaves margin enough to build the bar properly rather than quickly: ice in the coolers, garnish cut, surfaces wiped, everything standing before your first guest sees any of it.
Booking runs like this. A 25% deposit holds your date, the balance falls due 48 hours before the event, and the deposit stays fully refundable until 7 days out. The same terms apply in Sweetwater as anywhere else on this list.
Half the bartending quotes we have written are for 50 guests or fewer, so a Sweetwater backyard party is squarely normal for us rather than a small job squeezed between bigger ones.
Can you cover a Sweetwater event at short notice?
Often, yes. Sweetwater is about 13 miles from where we load, so the limit is crew availability rather than logistics, and weekend dates are the ones that go first.
A 25% deposit holds the date. It stays fully refundable until 7 days out and the balance is not due until 48 hours before the event.
Which areas near Sweetwater do you also cover?
University Park, Fontainebleau and Tamiami are the closest, starting about a mile out at University Park, and we serve the rest of Miami-Dade besides.
Guests traveling between them are worth a thought when you set your start time. Arrivals bunch, and a bar that opens on schedule is a bar that clears the first rush.
What happens if it rains on my Sweetwater event?
The bar can move under cover, and we would far rather plan that with you in advance than improvise it on the day — tell us what your fallback is when you book.
If the date has to move altogether it can be rescheduled free of charge up to 48 hours beforehand.
How much is a bartender in Sweetwater?
It starts at $85/hour with a 3-hour minimum — about $255 at the floor — and moves with the hours, the guest count and what you have us bring.
