Sweetwater private events
How we run a Sweetwater private event
Sweetwater is about 13 miles south of our Hialeah yard: far enough that a private event here gets its drive written into the run sheet, close enough that the drive is never the story of the day.
Venue hunting for a private event in Sweetwater tends to spill into Fontainebleau and Tamiami; University Park begins about a mile out. We quote the whole cluster identically, so crossing a boundary mid-search never restarts your pricing.
Sweetwater runs its own book on events — permits, curfews, park bookings, what may be put up in a public space. Ask your venue which of those touch a private event before you fix a start time; we will build the bar around whatever schedule it leaves you.
What you actually book for a Sweetwater private event is a licensed, insured team, a bar that photographs well, and a drinks list built with you rather than handed to you. What you do not book is a stranger who turns up and asks where the ice is.
Plans change. A Sweetwater private event can be moved free of charge up to 48 hours before the date, which is the part of the terms people most often end up needing.
You can have a price for your Sweetwater private event before you finish your coffee, and a held date shortly after. Everything above is what happens between those two moments.
What time do you arrive for a private event in Sweetwater?
About 1 hour before service. Over about 13 miles we leave with margin, because arriving early and waiting is a far better failure than arriving late.
We hold that arrival against your run sheet, so if the ceremony or the speeches move, the bar moves with them.
My venue is near Sweetwater rather than in it — is that a problem?
Not at all. University Park is about a mile from Sweetwater, with Fontainebleau and Tamiami close behind, and all of them price identically.
Give us the real address when you book and we plan the load-in around that rather than around the search term.
Are your bartenders licensed and insured?
Yes, on every booking. If your Sweetwater venue wants a certificate, ask and we will send it across.
The crew is on site about 1 hour before service and dresses to whatever code the private event calls for.
Do you cater to guests who are not drinking?
Always. Bottled water, soft drinks and a proper mocktail or two are part of how we build a private event menu, not an afterthought bolted on at the end.
Portions are worked out from your total headcount, so nobody is counting cups at the end of the night.
When should the bar open at a Sweetwater private event?
Usually as guests arrive, and then it follows your run sheet from there — quiet for the speeches, busy again afterwards.
Tell us the shape of the evening and we will staff the peaks rather than spreading the same crew flat across the night.
