How we run a Miami wedding
A wedding in Miami means about 14 miles across the county for us. We plan the arrival backwards from your start time rather than forwards from ours, which is the entire reason your schedule survives contact with traffic.
Measured from the middle, Miami is about 4 miles from Miami Beach, and further still from El Portal and North Bay Village. Access is what we work out first: where the truck stops, how far the kit travels from it, and who opens the door.
Miami is a municipality in its own right, which for a wedding mostly shows up as parking and curfew. Tell us what the venue has told you and the setup and breakdown get planned to fit inside it.
The wedding bartender you book for Miami arrives with everything the bar needs already on the truck: menu agreed in advance, kit checked before it leaves, and a crew that has run this setup across Miami-Dade often enough to know what the room will ask for.
Plans change. A Miami wedding can be moved free of charge up to 48 hours before the date, which is the part of the terms people most often end up needing.
If you are comparing options for a wedding in Miami, price this one first. It takes about as long as reading this paragraph and it hands you a real number to compare against instead of a range.
Can you handle a large wedding in Miami?
Yes — staffing scales with the headcount and the bar is built to match. For context, half the bartending quotes we write are for 50 guests or fewer, so a bigger room is a question of more hands and more ice rather than a different service.
Put the guest count and the timeline into the wizard and it prices the staffing for you.
My venue is near Miami rather than in it — is that a problem?
Not at all. Miami Beach is about 4 miles from Miami, with El Portal and North Bay Village close behind, and all of them price identically.
Give us the real address when you book and we plan the load-in around that rather than around the search term.
Can you design a custom menu for a Miami wedding?
That is how we normally do it — the list is built around what your guests will actually drink, mocktails and frozen drinks included.
The mixers, juices, garnish and ice to run it arrive with the bar, portioned to your headcount.
Can we taste the cocktails before the wedding?
We build the list with you rather than handing you one, and we will talk through exactly what goes in each drink. Tastings are arranged case by case — ask when you book.
Mocktails and frozen drinks sit on the same list as everything else, so guests who are not drinking are not an afterthought.
How long does breakdown take after a wedding?
Less time than setup. The bar comes down, everything goes back on the truck, and the space is left as we found it.
If your venue has a hard curfew, tell us and we will work backwards from it rather than from last call.
What is included in a Miami wedding booking?
The staff, the bar, and the mixers, juices, garnish, ice, coolers and serveware behind it. Setup and breakdown are part of the booking rather than line items.
The drinks list is built with you — classics, frozen drinks and mocktails as the room needs — and the team is on site about 1 hour before service.
